My sweet little Emily.
You are a doll. You’re precious, sweet, happy, and determined. So far you have done everything early. You rolled over early and sat up early and crawled early. You’re a fast learner and you’re determined to keep up with your older siblings. They ADORE you and you love them all so much. You light up when they come around. It really is the most beautiful thing. You’re squishy and so kissable. I probably kiss you 100 times a day. I can’t believe you’re already 8 1/2 months old. You’re growing so fast! I am enjoying you so much. The only thing I would change is the fact that you’re still not sleeping through the night. I thought that maybe it was the ear infections keeping you up, but you got tubes a couple of weeks ago and you’re still waking up once or twice a night. Hopefully you sleep soon! I’m typing this as I rock you at 1:20 AM. We’re sleepy! But I love the extra snuggles I get with you.
Emily:
Sweetest little baby but has a temper when hungry
6 weeks old: started smiling and cooing a little. Definitely starting to look around and be more alert. Sleeping 5-7 hour stretches at night in the nap nanny. Acid reflux is getting better with the medicine and chiropractor
8 weeks old: cooing more
All the kids adore her so much, especially Matthew and Sam. They want to live on her all day. Matthew talks to her in his baby voice.
Sleeps on average 10-11 hours a night at 2 months old.
5/19 Still pumping but starting to mix formula in today for the first time.
4 months old: 17 pounds
5 mos:
still sleeps in a swaddle. Won’t sleep without it
Takes 5-6 oz bottles of formula at a feeding
Spits up a lot
Never stops drooling. We go through 15+ bibs a day
Rolls both ways
Basically sits up by herself with minimal support
Wants to be where the action is. She’s gonna be into everything
Sleeps 7-10 hours at night straight most nights
Only wants pacifier when falling asleep
Loves Mickey Mouse clubhouse
Scooting/army crawling everywhere at 5.5 months
Took breathing treatments for rsv with no problem or tears at all, as long as Mickey was on
6months old:
Still waking up about once a night for a bottle
Weighs 20 pounds
So smiley and happy
Such a good baby
Babbling “dadadada” all day
Starting to get on all 4s and rock back and forth
Still takes about 5-6 oz on day bottles and 7-8 night bottles
7 months old actual crawling around and pulling up on things. Even trying to climb on things. All over the place!
10/19/21 two bottom teeth finally broke through. She’s been waking up all night every night for the last few weeks. Fighting ear infections and teething. We have an appointment with the ent on nov 1st. Hopefully tubes soon after.
8 months old weighs 23 pounds
Pulling up on everything

Still not sleeping through the night

I love you so much little Em. Daddy can’t get enough of you either. He will be wrapped around your finger.
